Boats Of The East River is a series of transfer studies of boats passing through the east river on February 27th; the first at 2:49pm and the last captured at 3:47pm. Each vessel was photographed and then later re–created to appear as diagrams or architectural drawings. There is no inherent commentary I wish to transcribe by drawing these boats next to each other however some form of commentary emerges just from submitting them to be drawn next to each other on the paper.
